FACTORS EFFECTING THE VIOLENCE BEHAVIOR OF MALE STUDENTS IN VOCATIONAL COLLEGE IN NAKHON PATHOM PROVINCE

Abstract

The purposes of the research were : 1) to study the level of violence behavior , self-esteem, influence from friends, influence from media and family relationships of male students in vocational college in nakhon pathom province 2) to compare the violence behavior of male students in vocational college in Nakhon Pathom Province as classified by educational degree, academic achievement, family income, physical punishment form family members and dwelling state 3) to study self-esteem, influence from friends, influence from media and family relationships of male students in vocational college in nakhon pathom province. Sample were 356 in male students in vocational college in nakhon pathom province by Stratified Random Sampling Technique. Instruments used to collect data were questionnaires constructed by the researcher. Data were analyzed for percentage (%), mean (X), standard deviation (S.D.), t-test and the Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis.

The results found that:

1. Violence behavior, influence from friends, influence from media were at the low level, and self-esteem, and family relationships were at the moderate level.

2. Male students in vocational college in nakhon pathom province as classified by educational degree, family income and dwelling state were not statistically different. While academic achievement, and physical punishment form family members were different statistically significant at. 05

3. Influence from media, influence from friends and family relationships predicted violent behavior prevention at the percentage of 48.9 with statistical significance at .01

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาระดับพฤติกรรมการกระทำรุนแรง การเห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง การได้รับอิทธิพลจากกลุ่มเพื่อนหรือรุ่นพี่ การได้รับอิทธิพลจากสื่อ และสัมพันธภาพภายในครอบครัว ของนักเรียนชายอาชีวศึกษาในจังหวัดนครปฐม 2) เปรียบเทียบพฤติกรรมการกระทำรุนแรง ของนักเรียนชายอาชีวศึกษาในจังหวัดนครปฐม จำแนกตามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล ได้แก่ ระดับชั้นเรียน ผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน ความพอเพียงของรายได้ในครอบครัว ประสบการณ์การถูกลงโทษทางกายอย่างรุนแรงจากครอบครัว และลักษณะการพักอาศัยในระหว่างเรียน 3) ศึกษาว่าการเห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง การได้รับอิทธิพลจากกลุ่มเพื่อนหรือรุ่นพี่ การได้รับอิทธิพลจากสื่อ และสัมพันธภาพภายในครอบครัวเป็นปัจจัยที่ส่งผลต่อพฤติกรรมการกระทำรุนแรงของนักเรียนชายอาชีวศึกษาในจังหวัดนครปฐม กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการศึกษามีจำนวน 356 คน ได้มาจากการสุ่มแบบแบ่งชั้นภูมิ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าร้อยละ (%) ค่าเฉลี่ย (X) ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D) การทดสอบค่าที (t-test) การวิเคราะห์ความแปรปรวนทางเดียว (One-Way ANOVA) และการวิเคราะห์การถดถอยพหุคูณตามลำดับความสำคัญของตัวแปรที่นำเข้าสมการ (Stepwise Multiple Regression Analysis)

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. พฤติกรรมการกระทำรุนแรง การได้รับอิทธิพลจากกลุ่มเพื่อนหรือรุ่นพี่ การได้รับอิทธิพลจากสื่อ อยู่ในระดับน้อย การเห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง และสัมพันธภาพภายในครอบครัวอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง

2. นักเรียนชายอาชีวศึกษาในจังหวัดนครปฐมสังกัดอาชีวศึกษาจังหวัดนครปฐมผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียน และประสบการณ์การถูกลงโทษอย่างรุนแรงแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 ส่วนระดับชั้นเรียน ความพอเพียงของรายได้ และลักษณะการพักอาศัยไม่พบความแตกต่าง

3. การได้รับอิทธิพลจากสื่อ การได้รับอิทธิพลจากกลุ่มเพื่อนหรือรุ่นพี่ และความสัมพันธภาพภายในครอบครัว สามารถร่วมทำนายพฤติกรรมการกระทำรุนแรงของนักเรียนชายอาชีวศึกษาในจังหวัดนครปฐม ได้ร้อยละ 48.9 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .01
