The Development of Science Teachers Characteristics Indicators in 21st Century

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to development of Science Teachers Characteristics Indicators in 21 st Century.The sample consists of 800 science Teachers in by stratified random sampling and 15 distinguished scholars were interviewed .The research instruments were a five rating scale questionnaire and a construct interview.The data analysis employed descriptives tatistic,exploratory factor analysis,and content analysis. There search results were as follows. 1.The result of the factor analysis of Science Teachers Characteristics Indicators in 21 st Century consisted of 7 factors with 63 variables including knowledge,learning,process,attribute,etic,media and technology,assessment and evaluation,research 2.The causal model of Science Teachers Characteristics Indicators in 21 st Century was consistent with empirical data.(Chi-square = 13.48 ,df = 7 ,p = 0.061 ,GFI = 1.00 ,AGFI = 0.98 ,RMR = 0.002, RMSEA = 0.034)

การวิจัยในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาตัวบ่งชี้คุณลักษณะของครูวิทยาศาสตร์ในศตวรรษที่ 21 กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ ครูวิทยาศาสตร์ในโรงเรียนสังกัดสำนักงานเขตพื้นที่การศึกษามัธยมศึกษาเขต 8, 9 และ 10 จำนวน 800 คน ได้มาจากการสุ่มแบบชั้นภูมิ (Stratified Random Sampling) และผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ จำนวน 15 คน โดยใช้การเลือกแบบเจาะจง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ ประกอบด้วย 1) แบบสัมภาษณ์แบบมีโครงสร้าง 2) แบบสอบถามการวิจัยเรื่อง การพัฒนาตัวบ่งชี้คุณลักษณะของครูวิทยาศาสตร์ในศตวรรษที่ 21 มีลักษณะเป็นมาตรประมาณค่า 5 ระดับ การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลประกอบด้วย การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (content analysis) การใช้สถิติบรรยาย (Descriptive Statistic) การวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบเชิงสำรวจ (Exploratory Factor Analysis) และการวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบเชิงยืนยัน (Confirmatory Factor Analysis)

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า

1. ผลการวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบของตัวบ่งชี้คุณลักษณะของครูวิทยาศาสตร์ในศตวรรษที่ 21 มีจำนวนองค์ประกอบที่ชัดเจนจำนวน 7 องค์ประกอบ 63 ตัวแปร ประกอบด้วย 1) ความรู้ 2) กระบวนการจัดการเรียนรู้ 3) คุณลักษณะความเป็นครู 4) จรรยาบรรณ 5) สื่อและเทคโนโลยี 6) การวัดและการประเมินผล 7) การวิจัย

2. ผลการวิเคราะห์องค์ประกอบเชิงยืนยันของโมเดลคุณลักษณะของครูวิทยาศาสตร์ในศตวรรษที่ 21 พบว่าโมเดลมีความสอดคล้องกลมกลืนกับข้อมูลเชิงประจักษ์มีค่า Chi-square = 13.48, df = 7, P = .061, GFI= 1.00, AGFI = .98, RMR = .002 และ RMSEA = .034
