Graduate Piano Recital By Thinnarat Meethongkum

Abstract

This research is part of the assessment to fulfill the completion of Master Degree in Music Research and Development at Silpakorn University. It has the aim to improve the playing technique of collaborative pianist. The researcher has chosen the works from the composers and has looked through the biography of the composers and the origin of compositions to achieve a better comprehension and apply it through practice. After so, the researcher has studied the critical issue in order to find a method of practicing to produce a better performance. Two pieces has been chosen for this analysis. 1) Sonata for Violin and Piano, Op.23, No.2 composed by Edvard Grieg and 2) Sonata for Clarinet and Piano composed by Francis Poulenc. The critical issue found can be categorized into four practicing techniques; 1) Preparing shift 2) Variety of Touch 3) Fingering Technique 4) Pedal Technique

ในงานวิจัยฉบับนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการศึกษาในระดับ ปริญญามหาบัณฑิต สาขาสังคีตวิจัยและพัฒนา คณะดุริยางคศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยศิลปากร ซึ่งเป็นงานวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนาเทคนิคการบรรเลงเปียโนของผู้ทำการแสดงร่วม โดยผู้วิจัยได้ทำการเลือกบทประพันธ์จากนักประพันธ์เพลงซึ่งผู้วิจัยมีความสนใจในเอกลักษณ์การประพันธ์เพลง ทั้งนี้ผู้วิจัยได้ศึกษาประวัติ ความเป็นมาของนักประพันธ์เพลง ความเป็นมาของบทประพันธ์ เพื่อให้เกิดความเข้าใจ และสามารถนำมาปรับใช้กับการฝึกซ้อม เพื่อทำการแสดงของผู้วิจัย นอกจากนี้ยังได้ศึกษาถึงปัญหา และคิดค้นวิธีการปรับปรุงแก้ไขในการฝึกซ้อม เพื่อให้การแสดงมีประสิทธิภาพมากยิ่งขึ้น ผู้วิจัยได้เลือกบทเพลง 2 บทเพลง ดังนี้ 1) Sonata for Violin and Piano Op.23 No.2 ประพันธ์โดย Edvard Grieg และ 2) Sonata for Clarinet and Piano ประพันธ์โดย Francis Poulenc โดยปัญหาหลักที่พบในการศึกษาสามารถแบ่งออกได้ 4 ข้อ ได้แก่ 1) ความแม่นยำในการย้ายมือ (Preparing shift) 2) ความหลากหลายของน้ำหนักในการลงนิ้ว (Variety of Touch) 3) เทคนิคการเลือกใช้นิ้ว (Fingering Technique) 4) เทคนิคการใช้เพเดิล (Pedal Technique)
