Nature Soul:Natural Colour from Stone

Abstract

After I had a chance to reside in the middle of mountain views in Maetang dictruct, Chiangmai provincial of Thailand, Mother Nature has spiritual affects on me. The forest, pure air and colours of rocks and dirt are individually enchanting, they inspire me to extracts those colours to make an artwork through a Thai traditional style of creation.

The stone produces different shades of colours; I use each tone to express on a canvas prepared with tamarind glue, white clay chalk and organic Acacia glue. The method I use to paint was therapeuthic the process creates deep concentration later result in a state of meditation. The outcome of the artwork laid out in Installation Art form.

การได้พำนักอยู่ในพื้นที่กลางเขา อำเภอแม่แตง จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เป็นเหตุให้ข้าพเจ้าได้ซึมซับกับสภาพแวดล้อมรอบกาย ป่าเขา อากาศ พื้นดิน สังเกตุเห็นก้อนหินตามพื้นมีสีสันเฉพาะในแต่ละก้อนทำให้เกิดความสนใจจึงนำมาทดลองสกัดทำสีผสมผสานตามกระบวนการช่างเขียนจิตรกรรมฝาผนังไทยในอดีต จนได้เฉดสีหลากหลายสวยงามสามาถนำมาสร้างสรรค์เป็นผลงานศิลปะโดยนำโทนสีจากหินที่สกัดขึ้นเองนี้มาสร้างสรรค์ผลงานเฉพาะตัวถ่ายทอดโทนสีที่ได้จากหินในพื้นที่ป่าเขาเพื่อแทนค่าสีเชื่อมโยงผ่านกระบวนการทำให้ได้มาของสีแต่ละเฉดสีนั้นๆจึงนำเสนอค่าความหมายความเป็นโทนสีก่อรูปเป็นการสร้างสรรค์งานในขณะที่ข้าพเจ้าแต้มสีลงไปบนพื้นที่ว่างทำให้เกิดสมาธิ โดยได้เตรียมพื้นด้วยดินสอพองผสมกาวเม็ดมะขามและกาวกระถินในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานในรูปแบบจัดวาง (Installation Art)
