Innovative installable sculpture design and management to maximize the benefits in real estate decoration

Abstract

Decoration is one of the factors using to added value to real estate property and the art sculpture is a part of fine decoration. Art sculpture is not only enhancing the space atmosphere but also inspire emotion of art appreciation. However, there is a gap between art appreciation and benefit of decoration to designers and users. In addition, fine art sculptures are expensive and only used in decorative mean. Therefore, this study aimed to provide an innovative installable sculpture design with variety of benefits that meet the needs of real estate owners and designers. In-depth interview was applied to 10 designers and 10 real estate owners to find out their expectations in this innovative installable sculpture and installation sculpture model will be implemented to test these expectation benefits to users.

It was found that the majority of users (both designers and real estate owners) will be satisfied with installable sculpture that made from none toxic substances and recycling waste (if possible) with reasonable and affordable price. The installable product should be light weight, easy to transfer, convenience to install, and the size should match the room type space such as window space or kitchen counter space. Therefore, these installable sculptures are not only decorated the space but also being used as a kitchen counter, wall, sideboard, and etc. In addition, the installable sculptures can be made to order for special purposes and mobility is also required if possible. In conclusion, the installable sculptures should have variety of functions in terms of art appreciation, decoration, construction material, and managerial means in terms of cost effective and logistic.

การออกแบบตกแต่งเป็นหนึ่งในปัจจัยหลักที่ใช้เพื่อเพิ่มมูลค่าให้กับธุรกิจอสังหาริมทรัพย์ และการนำศิลปะ อย่างผลงานประติมากรรมมาเป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการตกแต่งเพื่อการเพิ่มคุณค่าให้กับองค์กร ประติมากรรมไม่เพียงแต่ช่วยเพิ่มบรรยากาศให้กับสถานที่นั้น แต่ยังสร้างแรงบันดาลใจให้กับผู้ชื่นชมผลงานศิลปะ อย่างไรก็ตามมีช่องว่างระหว่างการชมผลงานศิลปะและการใช้งานประโยชน์ของผลงานประติมากรรม กับการออกแบบที่ยังไม่สัมพันธ์กับการลงทุนต่อธุรกิจอสังหาริมทรัพย์ อีกทั้งยังมีราคาแพงและใช้ประโยชน์ได้เฉพาะในการตกแต่งเท่านั้น ดังนั้นการศึกษาครั้งนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อการออกแบบประติมากรรมที่มีการติดตั้งแบบใหม่ คือมีความหลากหลายของผลประโยชน์ที่ตอบสนองต่อความต้องการต่อเจ้าของธุรกิจอสังหาริมทรัพย์และผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องในการออกแบบ การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกถูกนำมาใช้กับผู้เกี่ยวข้องกับการออกแบบอสังหาริมทรัพย์ จำนวน 10 คน และเจ้าของธุรกิจอสังหาริมทรัพย์ 10 คน เพื่อค้นหาความต้องการในประโยชน์ของผลงานประติมากรรมจากผู้ให้ข้อมูลการสัมภาษณ์ ประติมากรรมที่มีวิธีการติดตั้งแบบใหม่นี้ และรูปแบบการติดตั้งประติมากรรมจะถูกนำมาใช้เพื่อทดสอบประโยชน์ที่คาดหวังจากผู้ให้สัมภาษณ์เหล่านี้

พบว่าผู้ใช้ส่วนใหญ่ (ผู้เกี่ยวข้อในการออกแบบและเจ้าของธุรกิจอสังหาริมทรัพย์) พอใจกับนวัตกรรมประติมากรรมที่สามารถติดตั้งได้ ซึ่งทำจากวัสดุที่ไม่ทำลายสิ่งแวดล้อม และจากการรีไซเคิล (ถ้าเป็นไปได้) ควรมีราคาที่สัมพันธ์กับการลงทุนและถูกกว่าราคาประติมากรรมทั่วไป วัสดุที่ใช้สร้างนวัตกรรมประติมากรรมที่ติดตั้งได้ ควรมีความแข็งแรง สะดวกในการขนส่ง และการติดตั้ง ขนาดควรสัมพันธ์กับพื้นที่ของห้อง เช่นพื้นที่หน้าต่างหรือพื้นที่บนผนัง ดังนั้นประติมากรรมที่มีวิธีการติดตั้งแบบใหม่นี้ ไม่เพียงแต่ช่วยตกแต่งพื้นที่ แต่ยังใช้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งในการเพิ่มพื้นที่การทำงาน และความแปลกใหม่ให้กับธุรกิจอสังหาริมทรัพย์ นอกจากนี้วัตถุประสงค์พิเศษในการสร้างนวัตกรรมประติมากรรมที่มีการติดตั้งแบบใหม่นี้ ยังสามารถเพิ่มความสะดวกในการบริหารจัดการ การขนส่ง และการลดต้นทุนลงได้อีกด้วย สรุปได้ว่าผลงานประติมากรรมที่มีการติดตั้งแบบใหม่ควรมีหลากหลายรูปแบบในลักษณะของผลงานศิลปะ เพื่อการออกแบบนวัตกรรมที่มีวิธีการใช้ประโยชน์จากผลงานประติมากรรม ที่ตรงต่อความต้องการของผู้บริโภค ด้วยวิธีการบริหารจัดการต้นทุน และการจัดการห่วงโซ่อุปทาน(Logistic) ได้อย่างลงตัวเพื่อเพิ่มคุณค่าให้กับธุรกิจอสังหาริมทรัพย์
