THE DEVELOPMENT OF ANALYTICAL READING ABILITY OF MATTHAYOMSUKSA 4 STUDENTS TAUGHT BY PROBLEM BASED LEARNING

Abstract

The purposes of this research were 1) to compare the analytical reading ability of Matthayomsuksa 4 students before and after learning with problem based learning. 2) to study the opinion about learning with problem based learning of Matthayom 4 students.

The samples were 35 students of Matthayomsuksa 4/3 Amphawanwitthayalai School, Amphawa district, Samutsongkhram province, during the second semester of Academic year 2018. They were selected by simple random sampling. The experiment was taken 6 weeks, 2 times per week, total 12 timers. The research instruments consist of 1) lesson plan 2) test of analytical reading ability and 3) questionnaires to analyze student’s opinions about learning with problem based learning. The data were analyzed by mean (x̄), standard deviation (S.D.) and t-test for dependent

The results of the study showed as follows:

1. The analytical reading ability of Matthayomsuksa 4 students after learning with the problem based learning was significantly higher than before learning at the .05 level

2. The opinions of Matthayomsuksa 4 students about learning with problem based learning were highly agreement level

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถด้านการอ่านวิเคราะห์ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ก่อนและหลังการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ปัญหาเป็นฐาน 2) เพื่อศึกษาความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ปัญหาเป็นฐาน กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ นักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4/3 โรงเรียนอัมพวันวิทยาลัย อำเภอ อัมพวา จังหวัดสมุทรสงคราม ที่ศึกษาในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2561 จำนวน 35 คนได้มาโดยใช้วิธีการสุ่มอย่างง่าย (Simple Random Sampling) ด้วยการจับสลากโดยใช้ห้องเรียนเป็นหน่วยในการสุ่ม กำหนดระยะเวลาในการทดลอง 6 สัปดาห์ สัปดาห์ละ 2 ชั่วโมง เป็นเวลา 12 ชั่วโมง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ปัญหาเป็นฐาน แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถด้านการอ่านวิเคราะห์ และแบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ปัญหาเป็นฐาน การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้ ค่าเฉลี่ย (x̄) ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.) และการทดสอบค่าที แบบไม่เป็นอิสระต่อกัน (t-test for dependent)

ผลการวิจัยพบว่า :

1. ความสามารถด้านการอ่านวิเคราะห์ ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่ได้รับ การจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ปัญหาเป็นฐาน หลังการจัดการเรียนรู้สูงกว่าก่อนการจัดการเรียนรู้ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ทางสถิตที่ .05

2. ความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 4 ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้ปัญหา เป็นฐานในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับเห็นด้วยมาก
