THE DEVELOPMENT OF GEO-LITERACY ON THE STUDY OF ASIA GEOGRAPHY FOR MATTAYOMSUKSA 1 STUDENTS WITH GEOGRAPHIC PROCESS WITH GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Abstract

This research aimed to develop Geo-Literacy on the study of asia geography with geographic process together with geographic information technology. This research was an experimental research using a one group pretest-posttest design. The purposes of this research were 1) to compare the Geo-Literacy of students before and after learning by geographic process together with the geographic information technology. 2) to study the satisfaction after learning by geographic process together with the geographic information technology. The data were collected by using important tools, including 1) 3 units of learning management plan with geographic process together with geographic information technology. 2) Geo-Literacy pre-test, post-test, and 3) survey of student satisfaction with learning management. All tools were applied to the experimental group: 50 students in mattayomsuksa 1 in the first semester of the academic year 2019, which was obtained from Cluster Random Sampling. Statistics applied in this research were the mean, the standard deviation and the t-test.

The research results are as follows;

1) The average score of Geo-Literacy of the students after learning by geographic process together with geographic information technology (M = 55.68, SD = 15.69) was higher than before learning (M = 18.18, SD = 7.05) at the statistical significance level of .05.

2) The students were satisfied with learning by using the geographic process together with the geographic information technology at a high level (M = 4.63, SD = 0.67).

การวิจัยนี้เป็นการพัฒนาการรู้เรื่องภูมิศาสตร์ ในการเรียนเรื่องภูมิศาสตร์ทวีปเอเชีย ของนักเรียนชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ด้วยกระบวนการทางภูมิศาสตร์ร่วมกับเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศภูมิศาสตร์ โดยเป็นการวิจัยเชิงทดลอง ที่ใช้แบบแผนการวิจัยแบบกลุ่มเดียว ที่มีการวัดผลก่อนและหลังการทดลอง โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ในการวิจัยเพื่อ 1) เปรียบเทียบการรู้เรื่องทางภูมิศาสตร์ของนักเรียน ก่อนและหลังการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยกระบวนการทางภูมิศาสตร์ร่วมกับเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศภูมิศาสตร์ และ 2) ศึกษาความพึงพอใจที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยกระบวนการทางภูมิศาสตร์ร่วมกับเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศภูมิศาสตร์ สำหรับเครื่องมือที่นำมาใช้ในการวิจัย ได้แก่ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้โดยใช้กระบวนการทางภูมิศาสตร์ ร่วมกับเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศภูมิศาสตร์ จำนวน 3 หน่วยการเรียนรู้ รวม 14 คาบ 2) แบบวัดการรู้เรื่องภูมิศาสตร์ ก่อนและหลังเรียน และ 3) แบบประเมินความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ โดยได้นำไปใช้กับกลุ่มตัวอย่าง ซึ่งเป็นนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 จำนวน 50 คน ในภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2562 ซึ่งได้มาจากการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบกลุ่ม สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติทดสอบทีแบบไม่เป็นอิสระต่อกัน

ผลการวิจัยปรากฏดังนี้

1) การรู้เรื่องภูมิศาสตร์ของนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 หลังการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยกระบวนการทางภูมิศาสตร์ร่วมกับเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศภูมิศาสตร์ (M = 55.68, SD = 15.69) สูงกว่าก่อนเรียน (M = 18.18, SD = 7.05) อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

2) ความพึงพอใจของนักเรียนระดับชั้นมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 1 ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยกระบวนการทางภูมิศาสตร์ร่วมกับเทคโนโลยีสารสนเทศภูมิศาสตร์ในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด (M = 4.63, SD = 0.67)
