THE DEVELOPMENT OF MATHEMATICS PROBLEM SOLVINGOF FIFTH GRADE STUDENTS TAUGHT BY TGT TECHNIQUEWITH BAR MODEL METHOD

Abstract

The purpose of this research were 1) to study fifth grade students’ problem solving abilities taught by TGT technique with bar model method and 2) to study fifth grade investigate student’s opinions towards taught by TGT technique with bar model method. The sample consisted of 40 fifth grade students in the second semester of the academic year 2018 of Bankhongmai School. Sam Phran, Nakhon Pathom Province. The instruments of this research were: lesson plans, mathematics problem solving ability test and Students’ opinion questionnaire towards TGT technique with bar model. The statistical analysis employed were percentage (%), mean, standard (S.D.), One-Sample t-test, and content analysis.

The research finding of the study were:

1. The fifth grade students’ problem solving abilities after applying TGT technique with bar model method were statistically significant at the level of .05 whereas the problem solving abilities after applying the TGT technique with bar model method were higher than 75 % level.

2. The opinion of fifth grade student’s towards taught by TGT technique with bar model method were at a high agreement level. On the aspects of learning environment, learning usefulness and learning activities were perceived at a high agreement level respectively.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษาความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์ เรื่องโจทย์ปัญหาเศษส่วน ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 หลังการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยเทคนิค TGT ร่วมกับบาร์โมเดล (Bar Model) เมื่อเทียบกับคะแนนเฉลี่ยร้อยละ 75 2) ศึกษาความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยเทคนิค TGT ร่วมกับบาร์โมเดล (Bar Model) กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 จำนวน 40 คน ที่กำลังศึกษาอยู่ในภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2561 โรงเรียนบ้านคลองใหม่ (พรเอิบดิลกราษฎร์บำรุง) อำเภอสามพราน จังหวัดนครปฐม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยเทคนิค TGT ร่วมกับบาร์โมเดล (Bar Model) 2) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์ 3) แบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยเทคนิค TGT ร่วมกับบาร์โมเดล (Bar Model) สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้ค่าร้อยละ (%) , ค่าเฉลี่ย , ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.) , ทดสอบค่าที One–Sample t–test และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา (Content Analysis)

ผลการวิจัย พบว่า

1. ความสามารถในการแก้โจทย์ปัญหาคณิตศาสตร์ ของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 หลังการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยเทคนิค TGT ร่วมกับบาร์โมเดล (ฺBar Model) สูงกว่าเกณฑ์ร้อยละ 75 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

2. ความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 5 ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ด้วยเทคนิค TGT ร่วมกับบาร์โมเดล (Bar Model) อยู่ในระดับเห็นด้วยมาก โดยนักเรียนเห็นด้วยมากในทุกด้าน เรียงตามลำดับ คือ ด้านบรรยากาศในการเรียนรู้ รองลงมาคือ ด้านประโยชน์ที่ได้รับจากการเรียนรู้ และด้านการจัดกิจกรรมการเรียนรู้
