Patterns Processes to Transfer the Potential Wisdom of the Elderly through the Sustainable Communities and Societies

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the model of the wisdom transfer process of the elderly in Bangkok, and 2) to study the knowledge management model for sustainable wisdom development of the elderly in Bangkok.

This research study was a qualitative research through a case study. Data were collected by in-depth interview and non-participant observation. Key informants were selected based on their outstanding wisdom achievements and honors. They consisted of 17 key informants from 6 fields. They were the elderly people owning the wisdom in Bangkok.

The results of this study were as follows:

1. The model of the process of transferring the wisdom of the elderly could be divided into 4 forms as follows: 1) actual practice; the elderly would transfer the knowledge through practical application which was used for students to be provided with advices during the practice. 2) Demonstration; lecture and examples given by the elderly people. 3) Written form of knowledge 4) Transfer of data within family members only.

2. Knowledge management model for sustainable wisdom development of the elderly in Bangkok area contained 5 important steps as follows: 1) Defining the issues focusing on the determination of wisdom knowledge of the elderlies 2) Knowledge seeking is the use of knowledge and learning ability to receive knowledge from various sources internally and externally. 3) Knowledge exchange between individuals through formal and informal exchanges. 4) Focusing on storage of knowledge on individuals and 5) Transfer knowledge from person to person primarily through real practices demonstrated, recorded in written form on Facebook, Line, and given to family members only.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) ศึกษารูปแบบกระบวนการถ่ายทอดภูมิปัญญาของผู้สูงอายุในเขตพื้นที่กรุงเทพมหานคร และ 2) ศึกษารูปแบบการจัดการความรู้เพื่อพัฒนาภูมิปัญญาที่ยั่งยืนของผู้สูงอายุในเขตพื้นที่กรุงเทพมหานคร

วิธีการศึกษา เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ แบบกรณีศึกษา ใช้วิธีการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึกและการสังเกตแบบไม่มีส่วนร่วม โดยเลือกผู้ให้ข้อมูลหลักจากผลงานและเกียรติประวัติทางภูมิปัญญาที่โดดเด่น จำนวน 17 ท่าน 6 สาขา จากผู้สูงอายุที่เป็นเจ้าของภูมิปัญญาในเขตพื้นที่กรุงเทพมหานคร

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า

1. รูปแบบกระบวนการถ่ายทอดภูมิปัญญาของผู้สูงอายุในเขตพื้นที่กรุงเทพมหานคร พบว่า รูปแบบกระบวนการถ่ายทอดภูมิปัญญาของผู้สูงอายุนั้นสามารถแบ่งออกเป็น 4 รูปแบบ คือ 1) การปฏิบัติจริง ผู้สูงอายุจะถ่ายทอดภูมิปัญญาโดยการให้ปฏิบัติจริง เป็นการให้ผู้เรียนได้ทำจริง โดยมีผู้สูงอายุคอยให้คำแนะนำอยู่ระหว่างการปฏิบัติ 2 ) การสาธิต ผู้สูงอายุจะบรรยาย และทำให้เป็นดูเป็นตัวอย่างและให้ผู้เรียนปฏิบัติตาม 3) การบันทึกองค์ความรู้ไว้เป็นลายลักษณ์อักษร และ 4) ถ่ายทอดเฉพาะสมาชิกในครอบครัวเท่านั้น

2. รูปแบบการจัดการความรู้เพื่อพัฒนาภูมิปัญญาที่ยั่งยืนของผู้สูงอายุในเขตพื้นที่กรุงเทพมหานคร มี 5 ขั้นตอนหลักที่สำคัญ ได้แก่ 1) การกำหนดประเด็นความรู้ มุ่งศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการกำหนดความรู้ทางด้านภูมิปัญญาของผู้สูงอายุ 2) การแสวงหาความรู้ เป็นการใช้ความรู้ความสามารถในการเรียนรู้ของผู้สูงอายุในการรับความรู้มาจากแหล่งต่าง ๆ จากภายในและภายนอก 3) การแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ เป็นการส่งผ่านความรู้ระหว่างตัวบุคคลผ่านกระบวนการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ทั้งที่เป็นทางการและไม่เป็นทางการ 4) การจัดเก็บความรู้ มุ่งเน้นการจัดเก็บความรู้ไว้ที่ตัวบุคคล และ 5) การถ่ายทอดความรู้ เป็นรูปแบบการถ่ายทอดจากบุคคลสู่บุคคลเป็นหลัก โดยผ่านการปฏิบัติจริง การสาธิตประกอบการบรรยาย บันทึกเป็นลายลักษณ์อักษรผ่านทางเพจเฟสบุ๊ค ทางไลน์ และถ่ายทอดให้เฉพาะสมาชิกในครอบครัวเท่านั้น
