RESEARCH AND DESIGN PRODUCT OF BAG FROM PROCESSED LEAF MATERIALS

Abstract

Humans have been depended on nature since prehistoric times. Whether using leather materials or even a tool that was created to meet the convenience in every day. Each object can represent taste, race, or even social status. This research focuses on the research and development of processing materials from leaves to be applied in product design. The objectives are as follows: 1 to study and experiment with leaf materials 2 to design bags using leaf materials 3 to assess product satisfaction.

Referring to the experimental materials, 3 types of leaf samples were obtained: lotus leaf, water hyacinth leaf, and water canna leaf. The qualification criteria are as follows: Color durability, Leaves texture, Water resistance, Crisp hardness, Scratch resistance, Transparency, Glossy appearance, and environmentally friendly. The designing and developing products process are consisting of a product home decoration group, lighting group, grocery group, and bag group. The bag group resulted in the most successful use of sewing techniques. Therefore, it is developed to be a variety of bags.

The research tools cover four sets i.e., Material Information Interview Tool, Material Feeling Interview Tool, Product Stakeholder Satisfaction Tool, and Consumer Satisfaction Tool.

The results of this research have relied on experimental and qualitative research. which is the starting point so that it can be further developed in the future. The material is still very limited in particular the preservation production lead time and steps in production. However, the reader has ascertained that product design can be developed in terms of aesthetics.

มนุษย์เองพึ่งพาธรรมชาติมาตั้งแต่ยุคก่อนประวัติศาสตร์ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการใช้วัสดุหนังสัตว์ หรือแม้แต่เครื่องมือที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นเพื่อสนองความสะดวกสบายในชีวิตประจำวัน มนุษย์สร้างวัตถุขึ้นจากการใช้งานเป็นเหตุผลแรกๆ โดยวัตถุแต่ละชิ้น จะสามารถนำเสนอถึงรสนิยม เชื้อชาติ หรือแม้แต่สถานะทางสังคม การวิจัยนี้ได้มุ่งเน้นถึงการค้นคว้าและพัฒนาวัสดุแปรรูปจากใบไม้ เพื่อนำไปประยุกต์ใช้ในการออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์ดังนี้ 1 เพื่อศึกษาและทดลองวัสดุจากใบไม้ 2 เพื่อออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์กระเป๋าโดยใช้วัสดุจากใบไม้ 3 เพื่อประเมินความพึงพอใจต่อผลิตภัณฑ์

จากการทดลองวัสดุได้กลุ่มตัวอย่างใบไม้จำนวน 3 ชนิด ได้แก่ ใบบัว, ใบผักตบชวา, ใบพุทธรักษาน้ำ โดยมีเกณฑ์คุณสมบัติดังนี้ 1 การติดทนของสี 2 ผิวสัมผัสลวดลายใบ 3 ความต้านทานน้ำ 4 ไม่มีความแข็งกรอบ 5 ความต้านทานรอยขีดข่วน 6 ความใส 7 ลักษณะมันวาว 8 เป็นมิตรกับสิ่งแวดล้อม ในการออกแบบ และพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ ได้ลองทดสอบการผลิตภัณฑ์ กลุ่มของตกแต่งบ้าน กลุ่มแสงสว่าง กลุ่มของชำรวย กลุ่มกระเป๋า มีผลว่าการใช้เทคนิคการเย็บประสบความสำเร็จที่สุด จึงนำมาพัฒนาต่อเป็นรูปแบบกระเป๋าต่างๆ

การประเมินจากเครื่องมือการวิจัยจำนวน 4 ชุดได้แก่ แบบสัมภาษณ์ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับวัสดุ, แบบสัมภาษณ์ความรู้สึกต่อวัสดุ, แบบประเมินความพึงพอใจผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสียต่อผลิตภัณฑ์, แบบประเมินความพึงพอใจผู้บริโภค

ผลของการวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงทดลองและเชิงคุณภาพ ที่เป็นจุดเริ่มต้นเพื่อสามารถนำไปต่อยอดพัฒนาได้ในอนาคต โดยวัสดุยังมีข้อจำกัดอยู่มาก ในเฉพาะเรื่องการเก็บรักษา ระยะเวลาในการผลิต และขั้นตอนในการผลิต โดยในส่วนของการออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ได้เล็งเห็นการออกแบบที่สามารถพัฒนาไปได้ในเชิงสุนทรียศาสตร์ได้มากขึ้น
