The Chamber of Dream

Abstract

The artistic creation thesis under title "The Chamber of Dream" aims to study, explore, experiment and develop related theories including techniques in creation from the dream and imagination to create surrealistic various in forms, concepts with mixed techniques as to reveal feelings, imagination and the significance of dream. This is a unique expression and identity of the creator. Based on the combination of different techniques and the composition arrangement, the creator hopes that the audiences recognize the emotion feeling and imagination of the dream. The creator inspiration is from her dreams and she arranged them in the room. As she often stays in the room for almost of her life in the past. Then she expresses her identity in her own way freely.

The creator began studying, investigating, gathering various theories and techniques including work forms of artists to use in experiment, development and expansion to create new forms of art with her identity and her story. She created works on canvas, they are a series of art works thesis.

The creator had gathered information for studying, analyzing and creating to meet the goals of this study. There are altogether 4 pieces work. The first one is 'The Storage of Dream Room' 120*100 cm. size, represents a room for storing dreams and imagination.

The second one is 'Dream Eating Dream' 90*200 cm. size, represents a monster that eats the dreams. The third one is "The Identity of Dream," 150*100 cm. size, expresses dreams and imagination in a visible and more clear way. The last one is "Daydream" represented fancying that composed of various stories.

Acrylic colors pouring and collaging, combining painting techniques were used to create works with the hope that these works could help the audiences to imagine, have fun, and realize the importance of their dreams.

การสร้างสรรค์ผลงานวิทยานิพนธ์หัวข้อ ห้องแห่งความฝัน มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา ค้นคว้า ทดลอง และพัฒนาเกี่ยวกับทฤษฎีที่เกี่ยวข้องและเทคนิควิธีการสร้างสรรค์จากความฝันและจินตนาการ สร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะจิตรกรรมร่วมสมัยเทคนิคผสม ในรูปแบบเหนือจริง สร้างสรรค์ผลงานที่มีความหลากหลายทั้ง รูปแบบของผลงาน แนวความคิด และเทคนิควิธีการ นำมาผสมผสานกัน เพื่อถ่ายทอดความรู้สึกและจินตนาการ และความสำคัญของของฝัน ซึ่งเป็นการแสดงออกที่มีความเฉพาะตัวและมีเอกลักษณ์ของผู้ สร้างสรรค์ ในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน โดยอาศัยการผสมผสานกันของเทคนิค และการจัดองค์ประกอบต่าง ๆ มาอยู่ร่วมกัน ผู้สร้างสรรค์ต้องการให้ผู้ที่ได้รับชม ได้รู้สึกถึงอารมณ์ ความรู้สึก และจินตนาการของความฝัน โดยผู้สร้างสรรค์ได้นำแรงบันดาลใจมาจากการฝันของตนเอง และจัดความฝันนั้นให้อยู่ภายในห้อง โดยเนื่องจากในชีวิตที่ผ่านมาของผู้สร้างสรรค์โดยส่วนใหญ่มักจะอยู่แต่ภายในห้อง ผู้สร้างสรรค์สามารถแสดงตัวตนของตนเองออกมาได้อย่างเต็มที่ สามารถทำสิ่งต่าง ๆ ได้อย่างอิสระ ผู้สร้างสรรค์จึงได้นำความฝันมาอยู่ภายในห้องเพื่อสื่อถึงการแสดงออกอย่างอิสระในรูปแบบบและตัวตนของตนเอง

ผู้สร้างสรรค์ได้ทำการเริ่มศึกษา ค้นคว้า ทฤษฎีต่าง ๆ ศึกษาเทคนิคและรูปแบบผลงานของศิลปิน นำมารวบรวม ทดลอง พัฒนา และต่อยอด จนเกิดเป็นผลงานศิลปะในรูปแบบใหม่ที่แฝงไปด้วยเอกลักษณ์ และเรื่องราวของผู้สร้างสรรค์ สร้างสรรค์ผลงานลงบนผ้าใบจนเกิดเป็นผลงานวิทยานิพนธ์ชุดนี้

ผลงานการศึกษาและสร้างสรรค์ผลงานในครั้งนี้ ผู้สร้างสรรค์ได้นำข้อมูลมาศึกษา วิเคราะห์ และสร้างสรรค์ผลงานให้ตรงต่อวัตถุประสงค์ ซึ่งมีผลงานทั้งหมดจำนวน 4 ชิ้น ชิ้นที่ 1 ชื่อ “ห้องเก็บฝัน” ขนาด 120x100 เซนติเมตร สื่อถึงห้องที่กักเก็บความฝันและจินตนาการเอาไว้ ชิ้นที่ 2 ชื่อ “ฝันกินฝัน” ขนาด 90x200 เซนติเมตร สื่อถึงสัตว์ประหลาดที่คอยกัดกินความฝัน ชิ้นที่ 3 ชื่อ”ตัวตนของความฝัน” ขนาด 150x100 เซนติเมตร เป็นการนำความฝันและจินตนาการแสดงออกมาในรูปแบบที่เป็นรูปธรรมและเห็นชัดมากขึ้น ผลงานชิ้นที่ 4 “ฝันกลางวัน” ขนาด 150x100 เซนติเมตร สื่อถึงการเพ้อฝันไปเรื่อย ๆ โดยมีเรื่องราวที่หลากหลายเป็นส่วนประกอบ นำเทคนิคการเทสีอะคริลิค เทคนิคการปะติด และเทคนิคจิตรกรรมมาผสมผสานและนำมาใช้ในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน โดยหวังว่าผลงานการสร้างสรรค์ทั้งหมดนี้จะมีส่วนช่วยให้ผู้รับชมได้เกิดจินตนาการ ความสนุกสนาน และตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของความฝัน
