Bru in the memories

Abstract

The Bru ethnic group often coexist in small communities having a specific culture, customs, language, or dress groups, all of which have different characteristics. Ethnic education is considered to preserve and transmit knowledge in another form through visual arts, painting which is a universal language that people can understand and transmit their feelings without limitation. As for imagination through the painting set of "Bru in the Memories", the creator has taken the experience of the past to have the opportunity to live with the Bru ethnic group, Khong Chiam District, Ubon Ratchathani Province and compile into the story of the way of life of the Bru people which is a community in Khong Chiam district that needed to migrate from Laos by using the Lan Chang art form which is a local art that influences the creator. The inspiring image is the Hoop Team which is an Isaan mural with a long history in the Isaan region and inspired many artists to study and research their creations such as Tanupol En-On, Hom Sawan, U-Mansap, etc. and the use of Naïve art in the creation of works and applied to the creation. The creator uses the concept to express the culture, way of life, the livelihood of the Bru people that became the memory of the creator and designed in the style of painting set called "Bru in the Memories".

As for the painting set called "Bru in memory", the creation of this set is a process of finding inspiration, learning about the art that has influenced creativity, exemplary art and then analyze the data and design sketches by dividing them into 5 works with different content. Picture 1 describes the topography and location of the village. Picture 2 tells about the characteristics of the people in the community. Picture 3 tells about the occupation of the villagers. Picture 4 describes the characteristics of people living in the village next to the river. Picture 5 shows how people work together in the community. Each image is inspired by a real place or a story told by a person in the community. It emphasizes the use of distinctive and contradictory colors and using patterns. The drawing of blue lines and the use of white by the person creates a picture that conveys the memories of each work piece.

กลุ่มชาติพันธุ์บรู มักอยู่รวมกันเป็นชุมชนขนาดเล็ก มีวัฒนธรรม ประเพณี ภาษา หรือการแต่งกาย เฉพาะกลุ่ม ซึ่งล้วนแล้วแต่มีลักษณะพิเศษแตกต่างกัน การศึกษาเรียนรู้กลุ่มชาติพันธุ์ถือเป็นการอนุรักษ์และถ่ายทอดความรู้ในอีกรูปแบบผ่านผลงานทัศนศิลป์ จิตรกรรม ภาษาสากลที่ผู้คนสามารถทำความเข้าใจและส่งต่อความรู้สึกได้โดยไร้การจำกัดจินตนาการผ่านผลงานจิตรกรรมชุด “บรูในความทรงจำ” ผู้สร้างสรรค์ได้นำประการณ์เมื่อครั้งอดีตได้มีโอกาสเข้าไปใช้ชีวิตกับกลุ่มชาติพันธุ์บรู อำเภอโขงเจียม จังหวัดอุบลราชธานี นำมาร้อยเรียงเป็นเรื่องราววิถีชีวิตของคนบรู ชุมชนหนึ่งในอำเภอโขงเจียมที่มีความจำเป็นอพยพมาจากประเทศลาว โดยใช้รูปแบบศิลปะทางล้านช้าง ศิลปะในพื้นที่ถิ่นที่มีอิทธิพลต่อผู้สร้างสรรค์ ภาพที่ก่อให้เกิดแรงบันดาลใจคือ ฮูปแต้ม จิตรกรรมฝาผนังอีสานที่มีประวัติยาวนานในภูมิภาคอีสานและเป็นแรงบันดาลใจของศิลปินอีกหลายคนในการศึกษาค้นคว้าการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน เช่น ตนุพล เอนอ่อน,ห่มสวรรค์ อู่ม่านทรัพย์ เป็นต้น และการใช้ ศิปละนาอีฟในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงาน ประยุกต์เข้ากับการสร้างสรรค์ โดยผู้สร้างสรรค์ใช้แนวความคิดในการแสดงออกให้เห็นถึงวัฒนธรรม วิถีชีวิต การดำรงชีพ ของชาวบรูที่กลายเป็นความทรงจำของผู้สร้างสรรค์ นำออกแบบในรูปแบบจิตกรรมชุด “บรูในการความทรง”

ผลงานจิตกรรมชุด “บรูในความทรงจำ” การสร้างสรรค์ผลงานชุดนี้มีกระบวนการโดยการค้นหาแรงบันดาลใจ ศึกษาข้อมูลจากศิลปะที่มีอิทธิต่อการสร้างสรรค์ ศิลปกรรมที่เป็นแบบอย่าง จากนั้นทำการวิเคราะห์นำข้อมูลมาประมาลผลและออกแบบภาพร่าง โดยแบ่ง เป็น 5 ผลงาน ที่มีเนื้อหาแตกต่างกัน ภาพที่ 1 เล่าถึงภูมิประเทศลักษณะที่ตั้งของหมู่บ้าน ภาพที่ 2 เล่าถึงลักษณะของผู้คนในชุมชนการปลูกบ้านอาศัยอยู่รวมกันของครอบครัว ภาพที่ 3 เล่าถึงการประกอบอาชีพของชาวบ้าน ภาพที่ 4 เล่าถึงลักษณะอาศัยของคนในหมู่บ้านที่อยู่ติดริมแม่น้ำ ภาพที่ 5 เล่าถึงการทำงานร่วมกันของคนในชุมชน ซึ่งแต่ละภาพก็จะได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจากสถานที่จริงหรือการบอกเล่าของบุคคลในชุมชนนั่นเอง โดยเน้นการใช้สีที่มีความโดดเด่น ขัดแย้งกัน การใช้ลวดลาย การวาดเส้นสีน้ำเงินและการใช้สีขาวของตัวบุคคล ทำให้เกิดเป็นภาพที่มีการถ่ายทอดความทรงจำเรื่องราวของแต่ละชิ้นงาน
