LIFE CODE: THE VISUAL LANGUAGE OF REAL-TIME IN DIGITAL ON ANALOG SPACE

Abstract

Thesis on Life Code: The Visual Language of Real-time in Digital on Analog Space. This work presents the impact of fast communication in the digital world, which communicates information with numerical systems through tools where information are transmitted to electronic devices. Consequently, people lack the time to critically evaluate the information in front of them due to discrepancies in the information received. This causes more scams in the digital space than in the real world with analog signals which transmits information in alignment with the natural way. There is a three-dimensional perception of sight and touch, which allows time for people to think critically which leads to more thoughtful decisions. Therefore, I want to create artistic works by creating spaces with letters to simulate the digital world by using tangible materials. This led to a review of the relevant literature. To create works that allow people to participate in the use of time and space exploration by using materials that are tangible and visible all around. It can stimulate the idea of carefully using space in the digital world.

The works present the concept of “We have lived our life (Life) with our liking (Like) to seek the light (Light) in the digital world.” by creating works in the form of installation art using mixed media art techniques, by creating spaces that represent the overlap between digital spaces expressed in two-dimensional forms from the imagination through the placement of characters in the works and analog spaces expressed in three-dimensional forms from using of tangible materials, can express the feeling of connecting printing from the analog to digital era through the visual elements of pine charcoal materials and composition, creating works that can convey the digital world on analog space. People can participate in the use of moments from walking around and exploring the works. The interaction between people and work can stimulate thought and raise cautionary awareness about the use of digital spaces.

วิทยานิพนธ์เรื่อง รหัสชีวิต: รูปอักษร ความจริงในโลกดิจิทัลบนพื้นที่อนาล็อก นำเสนอถึงผลกระทบของการสื่อสารที่รวดเร็วบนโลกดิจิทัล ที่เป็นการสื่อสารข้อมูลด้วยระบบตัวเลขผ่านเครื่องมือและส่งต่อข้อมูลสู่อุปกรณ์ เช่น คอมพิวเตอร์หรือสมาร์ตโฟน มีการรับรู้จากการมองเห็นภาพผ่านหน้าจอในลักษณะสองมิติ ทำให้การสื่อสารด้วยสัญญานดิจิทัลมีความรวดเร็วและเป็นสิ่งที่ไม่สามารถจับต้องได้ จึงทำให้ผู้คนขาดช่วงเวลาในการคิดวิเคราะห์ถึงข้อมูลที่อยู่ตรงหน้าจากความคลาดเคลื่อนในการส่งต่อข้อมูล อันเป็นสาเหตุของการถูกหลอกลวงในพื้นที่โลกดิจิทัลมากกว่าบนพื้นที่ในโลกจริงที่ดำเนินไปด้วยการเคลื่อนที่แบบอนาล็อก ซึ่งเป็นการสื่อสารด้วยสัญญาณการเคลื่อนที่แบบธรรมชาติ มีการรับรู้แบบสามมิติสามารถมองเห็นและสัมผัสได้ ซึ่งทำให้ผู้คนสามารถใช้ช่วงเวลาในการคิดวิเคราะห์ นำไปสู่การตัดสินใจที่ละเอียดรอบคอบมากขึ้น จึงต้องการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปกรรม โดยการสร้างพื้นที่ด้วยตัวอักษรเพื่อจำลองถึงโลกดิจิทัล นำไปสู่การศึกษาทบทวนวรรณกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อสร้างผลงานให้ผู้คนได้มีส่วนร่วมในการใช้ช่วงเวลาและการสำรวจพื้นที่จากการประกอบสร้างวัสดุที่สามารถจับต้องและมองเห็นได้รอบด้าน สามารถกระตุ้นความคิดในเรื่องการใช้พื้นที่บนโลกดิจิทัลอย่างระมัดระวัง

วิทยานิพนธ์เรื่อง รหัสชีวิต: รูปอักษร ความจริงในโลกดิจิทัลบนพื้นที่อนาล็อก นำเสนอผลงานผ่านแนวความคิด “เราดำเนินชีวิต (Life) อยู่บนกระแสความชอบ (Like) เพื่อแสวงหาแสงสว่างในชีวิต (Light) บนโลกดิจิทัล” นำเสนอในรูปแบบศิลปะการจัดวาง (Installation Art) ด้วยเทคนิคสื่อผสม (Mixed Media Art) จากการสร้างพื้นที่อันแสดงถึงการทับซ้อนกันระหว่างพื้นที่ดิจิทัลที่แสดงออกในรูปแบบสองมิติ รับรู้ผ่านการจิตนาการจากการจัดวางองค์ประกอบด้วยตัวอักษร และพื้นที่อนาล็อกที่แสดงออกในรูปแบบสามมิติ จากการประกอบสร้างด้วยวัสดุที่สามารถจับต้องสัมผัสได้ และสามารถสร้างความรู้สึกถึงการเชื่อมโยงเรื่องการพิมพ์จากยุคอนาล็อกสู่ดิจิทัล ผ่านทัศนธาตุของวัสดุถ่านไม้สนและการจัดวางองค์ประกอบ ก่อให้เกิดผลงานที่สามารถสื่อถึงโลกดิจิทัลบนพื้นที่อนาล็อก ผู้คนสามารถมีส่วนร่วมในการใช้ช่วงเวลาจากการเดินสำรวจภายในผลงาน ซึ่งการมีปฏิสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้คนกับผลงานจะกระตุ้นความคิดและสร้างความตระหนักรู้เกี่ยวกับความระมัดระวังในการใช้พื้นที่บนโลกดิจิทัลได้
