The Development of Summary Writing Ability of Students in Prathomsuksa 6 Using Active learning

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to 1) to compare the ability in a Summary Writing Ability before and after by using Active Learning of the 6th graders 2) to study the opinions of the 6th graders about the Summary Writing Ability with Active Learning. The research participants were 17 students of 1 classroom at WatSaseeliam School, Dontum District, NakhonPathom Province Under the NakhonPathom Primary Educational Service Area Office, Area 1, Semester 2, Academic Year 2022, the results were obtained by Cluster Sampling. Data were gathered using three sets of instruments namely: 1) The lesson plan for writing a summary. 2) The writing a summary test (writing) 3) The opinionnaire of the 6th graders about the writing a summary with Active Learning Management. The experimental design was a One group pretest posttest design. The statistical analysis used were arithmetic mean (M), and standard deviation (SD)

The research findings are as follow:

1. The posttest of the 6th graders abilities of writing a summary with Active Learning Management were higher than the pretest with the statistically significant at the .05 level.

2. The opinions of the 6th graders about the writing a summary with Active Learning Management was at high level

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถการเขียนย่อความของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ก่อนเรียนและหลังเรียนด้วยการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุก 2) เพื่อศึกษาความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุก กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ นักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนวัดสระสี่เหลี่ยม ภาคเรียนที่ 2 ปีการศึกษา 2565 ทั้งหมด 1 ห้องเรียน จำนวนนักเรียนทั้งสิ้น 17 คน ซึ่งได้มาจากการสุ่มแบบแบ่งกลุ่ม (Cluster Random Sampling) ด้วยวิธีการจับสลาก โดยใช้โรงเรียนเป็นหน่วยสุ่ม เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ 1) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้การเขียนย่อความ 2) แบบทดสอบวัดความสามารถการเขียนย่อความ และ 3) แบบสอบถามความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ที่มีต่อการจัดการเรียนรู้ เชิงรุก โดยใช้การวิจัยแบบก่อนทดลอง (Pre-Experimental Design or Non Designs) แบบแผน การทดลองแบบกลุ่มเดียวสอบก่อนและสอบหลัง (The One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design) สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ย (M) ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (SD) และการทดสอบค่าที แบบที่ไม่เป็นอิสระต่อกัน (t-test for dependent)

ผลการวิจัย พบว่า

1. ความสามารถการเขียนย่อความของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ด้วยการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุก หลังเรียนสูงกว่าก่อนเรียน อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

2.ความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ด้วยการจัดการเรียนรู้เชิงรุกในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับเห็นด้วยมาก
