Memo Mum

Abstract

Women have many roles but the most important one in my opinion is to be a mother. Love that mothers give to their children is pure and powerful. Love and connection was built since they know that they are pregnant until the days they give birth that created the instinct of mother to protect and look after the children to be saved both mentally and physically. But when the baby was born with facial defects, abnormal jaw, tongue and esophagus, also have Pierre robio and Vavular heart disease. These cause the mother lots of suffering.

This thesis “Memo Mum” aims to present the mother’s pain and their relationship with the kids and my feelings about it that’s inspired me to create this work in a form of medical diagnostic records by stitching hairs in to white cloth to show pure love and sacrificing of the mother because in my opinion hair is one of the important part of women that helps us to be more confident. So cutting hair is like a symbol of mother sacrifice and consanguinity and stitching hair into the clothes shows mother’s patient and love.

This thesis is aimed to study form of installations art through a set of three pieces of artwork. There are two pieces of size 3 x 2 m. and one 1.7m. placed together as a curtain at room corner and surrounded by white hair stitching curtains and to study the “Mum memo” works by using hair stitching technique that made spaces to show the conclusion that reflects depression, love, patience and sacrifice of mother

ผู้หญิงมีบทบาทหลายอย่าง แต่บทบาทที่สำคัญที่สุดของผู้หญิงในความคิดของข้าพเจ้า คือ บทบาทของการเป็นแม่ ความรักที่แม่มีต่อลูกเป็นความรักที่ยิ่งใหญ่และบริสุทธ์ ความรัก ความสัมพันธ์ก่อเกิดเมื่อแม่รู้ว่าตั้งครรภ์และโอบอุ้ม ทะนุถนอมลูกน้อยในครรภ์จนถึงกำหนดคลอด ก่อเกิดให้เป็นสัญชาติญาณของความเป็นแม่ ที่อยากปกป้อง ดูแลลูกให้ปลอดภัยทั้งร่างก่ายและจิตใจ แต่เมื่อลูกเกิดมาพร้อมกับความบกพร่องทางใบหน้าที่ถูกวินิจฉัยว่ามีกรามสั้นลิ้นถอยไปด้านหลังทำให้หลอดอาหารตีบและมีเพดานโหว่ร่วม(Pierre robio) และลิ้นหัวใจรั่ว ทำให้แม่รู้สึกเจ็บปวดทางจิตใจ

วิทยานิพนธ์หัวข้อเรื่อง บันทึกของแม่ ( Memo Mum ) มี 1.วัตถุประสงค์ของการสร้างสรรค์ เพื่อแสดงออกกถึง ความทุกข์ ความผูกพันที่มีต่อลูกและความเจ็บปวดภายในจิตใจของตัวข้าพเจ้า ซึ่งก่อให้เกิดแรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานในรูปแบบของบันทึกคำวินิจฉัยของแพทย์ ที่ปักด้วยเส้นผมลงบนผ้าขาว เพื่อแสดงออกถึงความรักที่บริสุทธ์ การเสียสละที่มีต่อลูก เพราะเส้นผมถือเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของร่างกายที่สำคัญของผู้หญิง สำหรับข้าพเจ้าเส้นผมเป็นสิ่งที่ช่วยส่งเสริมความมั่นใจ ดังนั้นการตัดเส้นผมเปรียบเสมือนการเสียสละของแม่ และความสัมพันธ์ทางสายเลือด การปักเส้นผมลงบนผ้านั้นแสดงออกถึงความอดทน ความรักที่แม่มีให้ลูก

การสร้างสรรค์ผลงานวิทยานิพนธ์ชุดนี้ 2.เพื่อศึกษารูปแบบผลงานจัดวาง ศิลปะอินสตอลเลชั่น (Installation art) โดยประกอบด้วยผลงานสร้างสรรค์ 1 ชุด จำนวน 3 ชิ้น ชิ้นละ 3เมตร 2 ผืนและชิ้นละ 1.70 เมตร 1ผืน ประกอบเป็นลักษณะม่านเข้าฉากกับมุมห้องล้อมรอบด้วยผ้าม่านสีขาวที่ปักด้วยเส้นผมของข้าพเจ้า 3. เพื่อศึกษาผลงาน บันทึกของแม่โดยใช้เทคนิคปักเส้นผม ที่ทำให้เกิดพื้นที่ว่างซึ่งแสดงออกให้เห็นถึงข้อสรุป ที่สะท้อนให้เห็นอารมณ์ความรู้สึกสะเทือนใจ ความรักความผูกพันที่แม่มีต่อลูก ความอดทนและเสียสละของแม่
