DEVELOPMENT OF ENGLISH LISTENING COMPREHENSION ACHIEVEMENT USING PODCAST FOR PRATHOMSUKSA SIX STUDENTS AT NONGKUNGSALANUMTIANGWITTAYAKORN SCHOOL

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: 1) develop English listening comprehension achievement using Podcast for Prathomsuksa six students, and 2) study opinion towards development of English listening comprehension using Podcast for Prathomsuksa six students. The samples used in the study consisted of 30 Prathomsuksa six students in the first semester of the 2018 academic year of Nongkungsalanumtiangwittayakorn school, selected by Simple Random Sampling. The experiment took 8 hours in four weeks. The instruments used in the study were: 1) Podcast, 2) lesson plans, 3) English listening comprehension achievement test, and 4) questionnaires on opinion towards English listening comprehension using Podcast. The data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation and t-test for dependent samples.

The results of the study indicated that:

1. The students' English listening comprehension achievement using Podcast after the experiment was significantly increased higher than before the experiment at the .05 level.

2. The students' opinion towards the development of English listening comprehension using Podcast after the experiment was at a high level.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 1) เพื่อศึกษาการพัฒนาผลสัมฤทธิ์ด้านการฟังภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยการจัดการเรียนรู้ผ่านพอดคาสต์ของนักเรียนระดับชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 และ 2) เพื่อศึกษาความคิดเห็นต่อการฟังภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยการจัดการเรียนรู้ผ่านพอดคาสต์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยเป็นนักเรียนระดับชั้นประถมศึกษาปีที่ 6 โรงเรียนหนองกุงศาลาน้ำเที่ยงวิทยากร ภาคเรียนที่ 1 ปีการศึกษา 2561 ด้วยการสุ่มอย่างง่าย (Simple Random Sampling) จำนวน 1 ห้องเรียน นักเรียนที่เป็นกลุ่มตัวอย่าง 30 คน ระยะเวลาในการทดลอง 4 สัปดาห์ 8 ชั่วโมง เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 1) พอดคาสต์ (Podcast) 2) แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ 3) แบบทดสอบวัดผลสัมฤทธิ์ด้านการฟังภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจ และ 4) แบบสอบถามวัดความคิดเห็นต่อการฟังภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยการจัดการเรียนรู้ผ่านพอดคาสต์ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการทดสอบค่าทีแบบกลุ่มที่ไม่เป็นอิสระต่อกัน

ผลการวิจัย พบว่า

1) ผลสัมฤทธิ์ด้านการฟังภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยการจัดการเรียนรู้ผ่านพอดคาสต์ของนักเรียน คะแนนหลังการทดลองสูงกว่าก่อนการทดลองอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ .05

2) ความคิดเห็นของนักเรียนที่มีต่อการฟังภาษาอังกฤษเพื่อความเข้าใจโดยการจัดการเรียนรู้ผ่านพอดคาสต์ หลังการทดลอง อยู่ในระดับเห็นด้วยมาก
